I refer to your question on 13 March 2023 in relation to our reply on 2 March 2023 to 
your request for Access to Information made on 12 January 2023.    Having consulted 
the  Immigration  Department  (“ImmD”)  and  the Torture  Claims Appeal  Board/Non-
refoulement Claims Petition Office (“TCAB/NRCPO”), the requested information is 
provided as below, please.   
 
As at 31 December 2022, TCAB/NRCPO had received 24 712 appeals/petitions, among 
which 2 502 appeals/petitions were pending determination, with the breakdown of the

(including  the  Court  of  First  Instance,  the  Court  of  Appeal  and  the  Court  of  Final
