I am writing to request the number of children who have made non-refoulement claims in Hong Kong, including those whose claims are pending determination by your Department, those whose claims are pending appeal or judicial review determination and those who are pending removal.

Please be informed that as at end May 2019, there were 931 persons under
the age of 18 in Hong Kong who had lodged non-refoulement claims and
pending determination of the claims, appeal on their rejected claims or
removal from Hong Kong.
