The Labour and Welfare Bureau is committed to implementing various important policies for the benefits of the grassroots and the underprivileged with a view to improving their livelihood.Underpinned by the Labour Department, Social Welfare Department and other service agencies, LWB will press on with the tasks of promoting employment, maintaining harmonious labour relations, safeguarding the labour rights of employees and enhancing safety and health at work.The bureau provides services related to the issuing of registration cards for persons with disabilities, processing of applications for course registration under the Continuing Education Fund, processing of payment for the Financial Assistance Scheme for Family Members of those who Sacrifice their Lives to Save Others, and processing of applications and reimbursement claims in relation to the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund.
