Request for the District Council Geographical Constituency Boundaries 
 
I refer to your email of 18 August 2023 to the Registration and Electoral 
Office  (“REO”)  requesting  the  shapefile  of  District  Council  geographical 
constituency  (“DCGC”)  boundaries  of  the  2023  District  Council  Ordinary 
Election (“DCOE”).    The REO has referred your request to the Electoral Affairs 
Commission for follow-up and our reply is set out below. 
 
The shapefile of DCGC boundaries of the 2023 DCOE can be downloaded 
from

Spatial 
Data 
Infrastructure 
Portal 
(“Portal”) 
(https://portal.csdi.gov.hk/geoportal/?datasetId=reo_rcd_1634528082461_24797).   
Please  note  the  Dataset  Remarks  in  the  Portal  and  comply  with  the  terms  and 
conditions at the Annex upon use of the shapefile. 
 
You may wish to note that the shapefile only shows the DCGC boundaries 
but  not  other  digital  data  such  as  the  topographic  map  database  and  digital  land 
boundary  database.    If  you  need  such  information,  please  contact  the  Land 
Information Centre of Lands Department with details as follow:
