Please provide me with the following statistics on candidates applying to the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES), in the format of a spreadsheet:

1) Total number of applicants that applied in this (2023/2024) cycle

2) Total number of applicants that were shortlisted for interview in this cycle

3) Number of applicants that submitted examination results of Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) in their application in this cycle

4) Number of applicants that submitted examination results of Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) in their application in this cycle AND were shortlisted for interview

5) Mean SAT score for applicants who submitted their SAT score in their application this cycle

6) Median SAT score for applicants who submitted their SAT score in their application this cycle

7) Mean SAT score for applicants who submitted their SAT score in their application this cycle AND were shortlisted for interview

I refer to your application under the Code on Access to Information
received by the Education Bureau (EDB) on 12 May 2023 and provide the
available information as follows.

The total number of applications received for the 2023/24 cohort of
the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES), along with the
total number of applicants shortlisted for interviews, are provided at
Annex I.

The total number of applicants of the 2023/24 cohort of HKSES who
submitted their examination results of the Scholastic Assessment Test /
Advanced Placement along with their applications, as well as the total
number of the concerned applicants who were shortlisted for interviews,
are provided at Annex II.

We are unable to accede to your request in providing the mean and median
examination scores attained by the concerned HKSES applicants and past
awardees in accordance with section 2.9 (c) of the Code, as the disclosure
of such information would harm or prejudice the proper and efficient
management of the HKSES by the EDB.

You may request a review of our decision if considered necessary. You may
