      The total number of applications received for the 2023/24 cohort of
the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES), along with the
total number of applicants shortlisted for interviews, are provided at
Annex I.

      The total number of applicants of the 2023/24 cohort of HKSES who
submitted their examination results of the Scholastic Assessment Test /
Advanced Placement along with their applications, as well as the total
number of the concerned applicants who were shortlisted for interviews,
are provided at Annex II.

We are unable to accede to your request in providing the mean and median
examination scores attained by the concerned HKSES applicants and past
awardees in accordance with section 2.9 (c) of the Code, as the disclosure
of such information would harm or prejudice the proper and efficient
management of the HKSES by the EDB.
