“Table_IDDS.xlsx”, which are generated from the Interactive Data
Dissemination Service (IDDS) on the 2021 Population Census (21C) Website

results of the 21C.

IDDS is a service which enables the public to build and customise their
own statistical tables online with data of population census/by-census.
 By using a web browser, you may build your own statistical tables or
various types of charts easily with statistics and classifications you
desire.  You are recommended to try the IDDS and a demonstration video on
how to use the IDDS can be found from the following link

Please note that a major housing estate refers to a group of residential
buildings developed by the same developer (either in the public sector or
in the private sector) in one or more phases in a neighbourhood and with
at least 3 000 residents or 1 000 domestic households in 2021.

Besides, further breakdowns by single age for the population by major
housing estate are not readily available.  You are welcome to write an
email to [email address] specifying your data requirements, we will
study your requirement and may specially compiled the statistics for you
at a charge, subject to the consideration of statistical precision and
data confidentiality.

Dear Census and Statistics Department,

I would like ask how to extract population by age in each district and
major housing estate. The current population data only provides population
by age group but I would like to access data of number of population at
12-year-old and between 12-18 years old in each district and major housing
estate. I cannot find the particular age or age range of information from
the current census data.
