Dear Immigration Department,

I am writing to make a data access request about the years of birth of detainees at Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre. May I know, in each of the years between 2010-20:

a) the yearly admittances of detainees and a breakdown according to year of birth

b) the detainee population on 31 December of each year and a breakdown according to year of birth

If a CSV or Excel format is possible, I would greatly appreciate it.

The Immigration Department ("ImmD") does not maintain the requested
breakdown information from 2010 to 2020.

Note 1: The ImmD has taken over the management of the CIC from the
Correctional Services Department since 15 April 2010. The above table
covers the relevant figures of the CIC for the period from 15 April 2010
to 31 December 2020 only.

Detainee population at the CIC on 31 December of each year from 2010 to
