Dear Department of Health,

I am writing to ask for the following information concerning Covid-19 from you:

1. The definition of "breakthrough infection" adopted or provided by your Department;
2. The number of "breakthrough infection" in Hong Kong by year (2019-2022);
3. The full list of symptoms of "breakthrough infection";
4. The number of death associated with "breakthrough infection"; and
5. The number of "long covid" associated with "breakthrough infection".

               Our department has received your application for access to

2.            According to the World Health Organization and the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States, an infection of a
fully vaccinated person is referred as "breakthrough infection".

4.             For details of the cases in the 5th wave of COVID-19 and

5.            The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) collect data for
reported COVID-19 cases and follow up until the end of isolation. The CHP

isolation. The CHP does not possess other requested information.
