Complaints received by the Immigration Department, including those in relation to immigration detention (2020 - 2022)
Dear Immigration Department,
I am writing to make a data access request about complaints received by the Immigration Department. May I know, for each of the years between 2020 – 2022:
1) The total number of complaints received by the Immigration Department
2) Number of complaints received in relation to immigration detention at MTKDC
3) Number of complaints received in relation to immigration detention at CIC
4) Nature / type of the above-mentioned complaints
5) Outcome of the above-mentioned complaints
6) Follow up actions taken in response to the above-mentioned complaints
If the information could be provided in CSV format, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much for your help on this matter. I look forward to your response.

The numbers of complaints made to the Immigration Department (“ImmD”) from
2020 to 2022 are tabulated below:

in relation to immigration detention at Ma Tau Kok Detention Centre
