Dear Asif,
The COVID-19 PCR testing services for relevant inbound and outbound
travellers at boundary control points (including the Hong Kong
International Airport, Shenzhen Bay Port and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao
Bridge Hong Kong Port) are provided by the Government's out-sourced
testing contractors. The testing contractors are using different PCR test
kits, and the Ct values cut-off for the test kits range from 38 to 45.  A
negative test result is generally defined as Ct values ​​above the cut-off
or with no Ct value detected.  The Ct values are for reference only, and
the final test result should be determined by the laboratory technician.
