Dear Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department,
I am writing to request the designation of digital boundaries for country parks and special areas and would appreciate a document in shape file format. I am a student at the city university of Hong Kong, And I am doing my master's thesis, which can be used for the urban green study.
The boundaries of country parks and special areas are available at https://www.afcd.gov.hk/english/country/... Download in pdf format, but not the same as https://www.afcd.gov.hk/cn/country/... //www1.ozp.tpb.gov.hk/gos/default .... Could not find the exact boundaries of the country parks.

Yours faithfully,
LI Wenlu

Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department

Dear Ms LI,

Thank you for your email on 21 September 2022.

Please be advised that the boundaries of country parks and special areas
in shapefile format only show the approximate boundaries interpreted from
the original gazette plans of country parks and special areas.  Therefore,
the data are for general identification and reference purposes only, and
require further interpretation.   In fact, the boundaries of country parks
and special areas are available from the gazette plans and existing Lands
Department's publications (e.g. countryside series), or could be viewed
from Lands Department's GeoInfo map website (h[1]ttps://www.map.gov.hk)
(Menu --> "Attractions" -->"Nature Parks" --> "Country Parks").  You may
wish to consider whether the existing information (i.e. publications and
website) could suit your intended use.

In case further information and clarification are required, grateful if
you would contact Mr. Tony HUNG at 2150 6854 for us to better understand
your study so as to facilitate our processing of the requested
information.

Regards,
Dennis WONG
for Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation
