Freedom of Information request - Cycle Threshold for Current PCR Test
Dear Department of Health,
May I know what CT value is considered a positive infection, what CT is considered a past infection if we can prove a positive infection that is more than 14 days old and no symptoms currently. My current CT is 40.6.
Yours faithfully,
Belinda Lui
Dear enquirer,
Thank you for your email on 11/7/2022.
The current PCR cycle number of SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCRs in PHLSB is 40 or 45.
The second part of the enquiry is not under the purview of PHLSB.
Regards.
Yours sincerely,
(LEE Chi-kui)
for Director of Health
