Dear Immigration Department,

I am writing to make a data access request regarding the gender of detainees at Ma Tau Kok Detention Centre. May I know, in each of the years between 2010 – 2020,

a) the number of detainees admitted in each year broken down according to gender (male, female, transgender)

If a CSV or Excel format is possible, I would greatly appreciate it.

Yours faithfully,

Surabhi Chopra
