HKBU student's question on pitches' infill plastic pollution
Dear Leisure and Cultural Services Department staff,
I am Kitty Wang, a student from HKBU following up on Ms Dana Winograd 's research on pitches' infill plastic pollution (https://www.scmp.com/comment/letters/art...). Here are the questions for the department to answer under the Code on Access to Information
Referring to an advisory note titled Preventing Artificial Turf Infill from Entering the Aquatic Environment dated Aug 2020 issued by the Environmental Protection Department (http://bit.ly/infillnote0820 ), please list the the venues managed by LCSD that are relevant to the suggestions made in the document.
For each of the suggestions regarding Design, Construction, Maintenance and Disposal (15 in total), what does the department plan to follow up? Please provide relevant reports and documents.
