HKSES application and awardee statistics
Dear Education Bureau,
I would like to make a request for the following statistics on candidates applying/previously applied to the HKSES program.
1) The number of applicants that have applied for the 2023/2024 HKSES scholarship with A LEVEL results and the number of these applicants that have been granted an interview.
2) The number of successful awardees each year in the past 5 cohorts that applied using A LEVEL results.
Please provide this in a spreadsheet.

The total number of applicants of the 2023/24 cohort of the Hong
Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES) who submitted their
examination results of the International Advanced Level (IAL) / General
Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-level) along with their
applications, as well as the total number of the concerned applicants who
were shortlisted for interviews, are provided at Annex I.

The total number of awardees of the past five cohorts (i.e. the
2018/19 to 2022/23 cohorts) of the HKSES, who submitted their examination
results of the IAL / GCE A-level along with their applications, are
provided at Annex II.
