政府參考衞生署衞生防護中心轄下的疫苗可預防疾病科學委員會和新發現及動物傳染
病科學委員會（聯合科學委員會）早前的建議並已購買第三代猴痘疫苗。首批第三代
疫苗（JYNNEOS）已於早前運抵香港，並由十月五日起用於高風險群組接種猴痘疫苗
計劃。按照聯合科學委員會建議的注射方式及現時的疫苗採購量，預期計劃可為12萬
人接種疫苗。
