I am writing to make a data access request regarding the name, and case reference number allocated to a woman of Vietnamese nationality, who committed suicide in Mau Tau Kok Detention Centre on 7 July 2019 as confirmed in this Press Release: https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/2019...

I would like to attend the coroner’s hearing. If you can provide the hearing date that would be much appreciated. I am writing to confirm whether you are requesting information in relation
to the Coroner Inquest for the woman of Vietnamese Nationality mentioned
in your email.  You may wish to know that Coroner Inquests are under the
purview of the Coroner’s Court of the Judiciary of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.  Please note that
the date of Coroner Inquest of the case you referred to has not yet been
fixed by the court.  The case is currently under the investigation of the
Hong Kong Police Force.  Should your request for information be related to
the Coroner Inquest, we would forward your request to the Hong Kong Police
Force.  We should be grateful if you could clarify in this regard.
