               Our department has received your application for access to
information on 6.4.2022. Please find the readily available information on

2.            According to the World Health Organization (WHO), some
people experience a variety of mid- and long-term effects after they
recover from their initial illness. These mid- and long-term effects are
collectively known as post COVID-19 condition or “long COVID.” 

3.            You may wish to refer to the following website for more
details:

4.            The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) collect data for
reported COVID-19 cases and follow up until the end of isolation. The CHP
will not follow up the clinical condition of the cases after completion of
isolation. Hence, the CHP does not possess the requested information.

2. The full list of reported "Long Covid" symptoms;
3. The number of reported cases of "Long Covid" in Hong Kong by year;
4. The vaccination status of people with reported "Long Covid" symptoms in
Hong Kong by year; and
5. The number of reported cases of "Long Covid" in Hong Kong by
non-variant / variant.
