Loss of HKPR status - What is the deadline to represent myself to the immigration department ?

We're waiting for Caroline Cheung to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Immigration Department,

I have been absent from HK for a continuous period of more than 36 months due to the COVIS-19 epidemic as I was unable to travel to HK.
Following to your previous message in the forum (refer to below), I can organize my travelling to HK and meet an officer of the IMMD to explain the reason of my absence.
I was wondering if there is any deadlines that I should be aware of. Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Caroline Cheung

Previous message from IMMD:
A HKPR not of Chinese nationality who is absent from Hong Kong due to the
COVID-19 epidemic may make a representation about his/her individual
circumstances to the Immigration Department (“ImmD”). The ImmD will take
into account all circumstances of the case in accordance with the above
legal provision to determine whether the person concerned has ceased to be
ordinarily resident in Hong Kong or is only temporarily absent from Hong
Kong. If the ImmD is satisfied that the person concerned has not ceased
to be ordinarily resident in Hong Kong, the person concerned will not lose
his/her HKPR status.
