migrants detention statistics in Hong Kong
Dear Immigration Department,
I am writing to make a data request access about migrants' detention statistics in Hong Kong.
May I know, in each of the years between 2013 – 2023,
1. How many migrants people are detained each year by detention facilities
2. Gender and nationality of migrant people detained each year by detention facilities
3. Length of stays of detainees (by days or weeks)
4. Reasons of entry in detention centres (numbers by year)
5. Number of detainees involved in physical confrontations by type of attack and penalty received.
If a CSV or Excel format is possible, I would greatly appreciate it.
