Regarding "prosecutions" in Annual Reports
Dear Immigration Department,
I am writing to make an information access request regarding “prosecutions” conducted by the Immigration Department as mentioned in Appendix 13 of the Annual Reports. May I know,
I) Does the Immigration Department maintain statistics on the a) number of prosecutions and b) outcomes of prosecutions instituted by the category of offence? (ex. Overstaying, illegal entry, unlawful employment, etc)

of 31 December 2021, please be informed that this Department does not
maintain the relevant statistics and further breakdown on prosecution
cases. Nevertheless, please find below figures of prosecution and
conviction for your information:
