1.        Thank you for your enquiry dated 6 Jan 2023 regarding the
request for the road network dataset with classification.

2.        We regret to inform you that the mentioned road classifications
(i.e. EX, UT, LD, etc.) are not applied to LandsD’s i-Series Digital Maps.
 Alternatively, our i-Series Digital Maps contain the road network data
classifying into expressway, main road, secondary road, track, etc., which
are available for free browsing and downloading at Hong Kong Map Service
2.0 ([1]www.hkmapservice.gov.hk).  You may refer to Digital Topographic
Maps (iB5000, iB10000, iB20000), and the Geo-Reference Database (iRG1000
under iG1000) for more information on road network data.

Referring to Appendix G, H and J of Annual Traffic Census 2021

I have searched extensively in Road Network Data
([4]https://data.gov.hk/en-data/dataset/hk-t...) but
do not contain such fields.

I have also read through all the data dictionaries of iB series Digital
Map ([5]https://open.hkmapservice.gov.hk/OpenDat...) and they
do not contain such information on road types under road classifications.

I would be grateful if you could provide the digital map (FGDB and/or GML)
of the HK road network with road classifications ie. EX - Expressway, UT-
Urban Trunk Road, LD - Local Distributor etc.
