Attached please find the quarterly number of registered deaths due to
suicide grouped by sex and by age group from 2015 to 2021.

Please note that the Department of Health compiles mortality statistics
based on registered deaths.  The numbers of registered deaths due to
intentional self-harm presented in the tables refer to those cases
registered in the respective quarters.  Since there is a time lag between
occurrence and registration of a death, some deaths due to intentional
self-harm occurred in a quarter may not be registered in the same quarter.
