Dear Xinying,

I refer to your request for access to information dated 17 January 2024.

Please note that the requested information could be found in Vol 1 of
Transport Planning and Design Manual (TPDM); and which would be available
at the local major reference libraries, such as the Hong Kong Central
Library, City Hall Public Library, Kowloon Public Library, Ping Shan Tin
Shui Wai Public Library, Sha Tin Public Library, Tsuen Wan Public Library,
Tuen Mun Public Library, and libraries of some local universities.

Alternatively you may acquire a softcopy of the TPDM in the form of a
CD-ROM only with a cost of HK$115 by placing an order to the Transport
Department.

The division responsible for acquisition of the TPDM in Transport
Department is the Road Safety and Standards Division.  Please send us a
letter or an email with your full name and mailing address to
[email address] or the following address.

Upon receipt of your application, a demand note will be sent to you (by
email if provided).  Please pay according to the payment instructions on
the back of the demand note and send the receipt to us.  Upon receipt of
the payment, the CD-ROM will be posted to your mailing address.  The TPDM
may be updated and revised from time to time.  The CD-ROM containing the
TPDM is an uncontrolled copy and we shall not inform you about any future
revisions of them.

For any queries regarding the acquisition of the TPDM, please do not
hesitate to contact Mr Brandon CHENG at 3842 6075.

I am doing transportation modelling study and I want to know where can I
find the parameters for estimating trip attraction number in Hong Kong?
I am particularly interested in the trip attraction parameters related to
land use areas, such as commercial, residential, and industrial land
areas.
