Unlawful detention claims
Dear All registries and administrative offices of courts and tribunals for which the Judiciary Administrator has responsibility,
I am writing to make a data access request regarding claims for unlawful detention made by individuals held in immigration detention centres administered by the Immigration Department and Tai Tam Gap Correctional Institution administered by the Correctional Services Department. May I know for each of the years between 2017-2021:
A) The number of applications for unlawful detention filed
I) Of A) the number of applications heard
II) Of AI) the outcomes of the applications
If a CSV or Excel format is possible, I would greatly appreciate it.
