Dear Yoanna Y LO,
Thanks for the reply. I have tried to use the route planning function and it does shows vehicle limitation on the suggested route.
Is it possible for it to recommend alternative route for learner drivers to bypass those "Prohibited public roads for learner driver"? Thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Kelvin Wong
Dear Mr WONG,
Referring to the suggestion on HKeMobility in your email dated 6 Jan 2022,
please find our reply as follows:
The point-to-point driving route search function of HKeMobility enables
users to select the shortest distance, shortest tavelling time or the
lowest toll driving route a specific location to the destination.
HKeMobility (website) also provides details of vehicle
restrictions/prohibitions and real-time traffic information, including
speed map panels, cross-harbour journey times, CCTV snapshots and traffic
speed, along the driving routes during pre-trip planning.
To obtain an alternative route bypassing a certain road in HKeMobility
(website), the user can right-click on the road and choose to avoid it
during the driving route search. Please access the HKeMobility (website)
at [1]https://www.hkemobility.gov.hk/. For details, please refer to the
screen capture below:
Please contact me if you have further queries. Thank you.
