Request for Information under the Code on Access to Information — Part C Road Test Records 2025
Dear Transport Department,
I write to request information under the Code on Access to Information.
I request a dataset of individual road test records for all Part C (Road Test) sittings conducted by the Transport Department during the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. The scope should include:
(a) standalone Part C sittings; and
(b) Part C components of Combined Tests (Parts B and C),
across all vehicle classes, both non-commercial and commercial.
Each record should contain the following fields:
1. Anonymised test candidate serial number (sufficient to identify unique and repeated test sittings without identifying candidates)
2. Date of road test
3. Scheduled test time
4. Road test route designation or description as used in the Department's internal records, of one of the 89 routes currently in use for road tests
5. The name or address of one of the test centre
6. Vehicle class
7. Test type (standalone Part C or Combined Test)
8. Part C test result (pass or fail)
I request that the data be provided in structured data format (e.g. CSV or spreadsheet).
