Under the Code on Access to Information, I would like to request the latest administrative records and schedules regarding Electric Vehicle (EV) charging facilities within Public Rental Housing (PRH) estates and Housing Authority-managed car parks.
Please provide data broken down by district (preferably in CSV or Excel format) covering the following:
1. Estate-Level Installation Breakdown: A list of all HA-managed/PRH estates detailing:
Total number of parking spaces (by vehicle type if available)
Total number of approved EV charging spaces
Number of currently operational EV charging spaces
2. Access & Management Type:
Designation of charging facilities (e.g., resident-only vs. public access)
Management structure (direct HA management vs. outsourced third-party Charge Point Operators)
3. Future Installation Schedule: Target completion dates and planned quantities for EV charger retrofits/upgrades under ongoing schemes across the 18 districts.
Purpose of Request:
This data will support academic research at Hong Kong Baptist University examining spatial equity and charging accessibility for public housing residents in Hong Kong.
