Arrest statistics for foreign domestic helper visa holders

The request was partially successful.

Dear Hong Kong Police Force Sham Shui Po District,

Do you have statistics for foreign domestic helper visa holder arrests from 2005 to present date? And if so, can I also get a breakdown on types of arrests and nationalities of the people arrested.

To put this in wider context, have you been collecting arrest data on non-ethic Chinese or NECIIs over this time period as well? And if so, can I have whatever data you have on this.

And finally I would also like to know overall (all arrests, not divided into sub catagories) arrest statistics for you district for 2016.

Many thanks for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Scott Edmunds

Dear Mr Edmunds,

I refer to your email dated 11 November 2016.

First of all, I am sorry that we do not compile crime statistics related to
foreign domestic helper visa holders. I am afraid that we could not
provide such information to you.

For the arrest figure related to NEC and the overall arrest figure in this
District in 2016, please be advised that:-

1. We have compiled crime figure since 2014. In this connection, we could
provide you with the arrest figure related to NEC starting from 2014.

2014: 220
2015: 261
2016 (January - September): 273

2. The overall arrest figure in 2016 (January - September) is 1,815

For your information, we only have crime figure up to September 2016 on
