Demographic information of migrant children held at TMCJH

The request was partially successful.

Dear Social Welfare Department,

I am writing to make a data access request regarding the migrant children who are held at Tuen Mun Children and Juvenile Home (TMCJH). May I know, for each of the years between 2017 – 2022 (so far):

a) nationalities,
b) gender (male, female, transgender),
c) age, and
d) immigration status (overstayer, non-refoulement claimant, other categories as applicable)

of migrant (ie. non-local) children at TMCJH as a breakdown under:

I) Yearly admittances
II) End of year population
III) End of month population if possible

Thank you very much for your help and attention to this matter; any relevant information would be greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,
