Detainees at CIC in 2022
Dear Immigration Department,
I am writing to make a data access request regarding immigration detainees held in Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre (CIC). May I know, in 2022:
A) The yearly admittance to CIC, broken down by:
i) gender (male, female, transgender)
ii) nationality (please specify each country)
iii) age or age groups
iv) immigration status (including non-refoulement claimants, overstayers, persons refused entry, and other categories as applicable)
B) The yearly release from CIC
C) The average daily population in CIC
