Registration of a New School (For Premises Not Designed and Constructed as a School )
Dear Lands Department,
We are interested in setting a Learning Centre at Kings Wing Plaza 1, 3 On Kwan Street, New Territories, Hong Kong.
We are interested in setting up the centre in either Level 5 or Level 2.
The property management company said that at the end of last year (2022) the quota for registration of learning centres is full and Lands Department will not authorise anymore learning centres.
Please can you let me know whether the quota for registration of a new license is full for both Level 2 and Level 5??
If you are not the right department, please advise which department, we need to contact.
I appreciate if you let me know
Yours faithfully,
Peter D. Roberts

Dear Mr. Roberts,
I refer to your request for access to information on 21.3.2023 concerning
the "quota" for registration of learning centres on either Level 2 or
Level 5 of Kings Wing Plaza 1.
Kings Wing Plaza 1 is located on Sha Tin Town Lot No. 412 ("the Lot"). The
lease governing the Lot has no provision relating to the quota for
registration of learning centre or related educational use. Hence, this
office has no such quota information.
Should you have any further enquiry, please feel free to contact the
undersigned at Tel: 2158 4847.
Yours faithfully,
