Dear Sir,
I am a member of a Christian church's Outgoing Service Team in Hong Kong. Have come into contact with a number of South Asian youngsters, who are well educated in Hong Kong (associate degree), but lack formal working opportunities (legal restriction) to contribute their special skill in helping to harmonise cross culture relationship.
We would hope to get demographics statistics in regards of such population so that our church can make a plan to make good use of our limited resources.

Dear Albert Lam,
I refer to your request for access to information on 31 January 2023.
Further to our interim reply of 9 February 2023, our reply is provided as
below.
As at 31 December 2022, there were around 16,500 persons being released on
recognizance. This department does not maintain the demographic
statistics mentioned in the question.
