規劃署：
I am a PhD student in the Hong Kong University. Since I am working on a
project about PM2.5 component, the Hong Kong land use distrubution data in
the past 20 years are requested to use. While data in 2018-2021 are
provided free by the Planning Department, I would like to request for the
Land Utilization before 2018 in GeoTiff format.

Dear Cen Junqiao,

        I refer to your email dated 7.8.2023 regarding the captioned
request under the "Code on Access to Information" (Ref. (10/23) in TS
I/AI/1 Pt. 66).

2.        Please note that the land utilization spatial/graphic data
produced before 2000 is not available and only image files of past paper
plans in georeferenced TIFF format in 2001, 2004 to 2007, 2009 to 2016 and
2018 are available.  Please note that they are processed for paper plans
at a scale of 1:75,000.  They are for visualization purpose only, not
intended or recommended for analysis or comparison purposes.  

3.        As per your request, the aforementioned editions of the land
utilization map in georeferenced TIFF format would be provided to you for
viewing using GIS software. We have arranged a DVD for those datasets,
which you could collect personally at the Planning Enquiry Counter during
its opening hours:

        17/F, North Point Government Offices
        333 Java Road, North Point
       
        Opening Hours:
        Monday - Thursday             9:00 am - 5:30 pm (no lunch break)
        Friday                                9:00 am - 6:00 pm (no lunch
break)

4.     Please confirm by replying this email the date to collect the DVD
at the above address.
