Your requested statistics of working population by occupation and Large
Subunit Group (LSUG) are available from the results of 2021 Population
Census (21C). Please refer to the attached statistical table
“Table_IDDS”, which is generated from the Interactive Data Dissemination
Service (IDDS) on the 21C Website (Link :
[1]https://idds.census2021.gov.hk/app/idds....). Please be informed that
“Street Block” has been renamed as “Subunit” since the 21C.
Table 1: Working Population by Occupation and Large Subunit Group, 2021
IDDS is a service which enables the public to build and customise their
own statistical tables online with data of population census/by-census.
By using a web browser, you may build your own statistical tables or
various types of charts easily with statistics and classifications you
desire. You are recommended to try the IDDS and a demonstration video on
how to use the IDDS is available from the following link

Besides, please be informed that the statistics of the working population
by occupation, sex and LSUG are not readily available. You are welcome to
write an email to [email address] specifying your data requirements
so that we could compile the required statistics for you (subject to a
charge) based on the population census/by-census results.
