Dear Ms Qiu,

I refer to your email dated 1.10.2017 and would like to
inform you that the Department of Health does not hold the requested
information on licensed personal clinics and Chinese Medicine clinics.

2.         You may wish to note that the Medical Clinics Ordinance (Cap.
343) requires that any premises used for medical diagnosis or treatment of
persons suffering from any disease, injury or disability of mind or body
shall be registered with the Department of Health.  On the other hand,
premises used exclusively by, among others, registered medical
practitioners or dentists in the course of their practice on their own
account, specified registered health professionals (e.g. Chinese medicine
practitioners, physiotherapists etc.) are exempted under Section 2 of Cap.
343 (i.e., no need to be registered).  You may refer to the detailed
provisions of the Cap. 343 at
[1]https://www.elegislation.gov.hk/hk/cap343.  The up-to-date list of
medical clinics registered under Cap. 343 (a total of 92 as at 30
September 2017) along with their corresponding addresses are available at
