I refer to your request for access to information dated 27 June 2022. Our
reply is as follows:
The Transport Planning and Design Manual (TPDM), as well as the summary of
TPDM amendments since version issued in 2002, can be viewed at the local
major public libraries, such as the Hong Kong Central Library, City Hall
Public Library, Kowloon Public Library, Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Public
Library, Sha Tin Public Library, Tsuen Wan Public Library, Tuen Mun Public
Library, and the libraries of local universities; or alternatively you may
acquire a softcopy of the TPDM, together with the amendment summary, in
the form of a CD-ROM ONLY with a cost of HK$115 by placing an order to the
Transport Department.
The division responsible for acquisition of TPDM in Transport Department
is the Road Safety and Standards Division. You have to send us a letter
with your full name and mailing address to the following address. Upon
receipt of your application, we will send you a demand note (by email if
provided). Please pay according to the payment instructions on the back
of the demand note and send the receipt to us. Upon receipt of the
payment, we will post the CD-ROM to your mailing address.
