Accessing Transport Characteristics Survey data
Dear Transport Department,
I am a student at the University of Hong Kong conducting research on transportation in Hong Kong. While exploring available transport data sources, I came across the Transport Characteristics Survey (TCS) and its associated database. I am particularly interested in accessing the TCS 2011 Database for my research purposes.
I kindly request information on the possibility of obtaining access to the TCS 2011 Database. As an aspiring researcher, having access to this dataset would greatly contribute to the depth and quality of my study on transportation in Hong Kong.
Additionally, I would like to inquire about the availability of the TCS 2022 Database.

year that the database would not be available in a short period of time

released to you on condition that it is used for the sole purpose of
carrying out your academic research.

undertaking in respect of the associated databases on TCS 2011. I also
attach for your attention a file containing the terms and conditions for
using the materials. I should be grateful if you could e-mail us scanned
PDF file of your duly completed and signed form of undertaking to the

original signed copy to our office at the following address (Attn: Mr
