Incentives Payable to Doctors or Hospitals
Dear Hospital Authority,
Can you please advise if doctors or hospitals have been or are currently receiving any incentives or money from the HK govt or outside sources in advance or retrospectively for the following:
-a positive Covid-19 diagnosis in a patient
-for a Covid-19 patient admitted to a hospital
-for every PCR test conducted
-for every Remdesivir treatment issued/ prescribed
-for every patient put on a ventilator
-for every patient who is deemed to have died from Covid-19
Please advise yes or no for the above. If yes, please advise the incentive provided.

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Hong Kong in
2019-2020, the Government has provided resources to the HA for carrying
out various anti-epidemic measures, including establishment and operation
of the North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre and other
isolation and treatment facilities, laboratory testing, procurement of
drugs and medical equipment, etc.
