Non-JUPAS admissions statistics for non-local students
Dear Education Bureau,
I would be very grateful if you can kindly provide the Non-JUPAS admissions statistics data for the 2021/22 admission cycle (i.e. 2021 fall intake) from: HKU, HKUST, CUHK, PolyU, CityU, Baptist U.
To be precise, the data would be expected to include:
1. List of all undergraduate programmes with data of following items:
2. Numbers of all applications (for each specific programme)
3. Numbers of all offers made (for each specific programme)
4. Numbers of applications from those with nationality of mainland China (for each specific programme)
5. Numbers of offers made for those with nationality of mainland China (for each specific programme)

the universities (information up to the 2020/21 academic year) can be
accessed via UGC’s website

select “Commonly Used Statistical Tables” → “General Information” → “02 -
List of UGC-funded programmes (single years)” and click on the
corresponding academic year to access the information.
Universities in Hong Kong are independent statutory bodies which enjoy
autonomy in administering their internal affairs, including admission of
students. EDB / UGC does not maintain the record of non-JUPAS
applications received and the number of such offers made by the
universities. You may wish to contact the universities direct on your
request for information.
