Dear Ms Chim,

Thank you for the data. The dataset looks fine.

Aside from the data, may I ask is there a way to get the Street Type of the roads within Centerlines, for example, whether the road is an expressway or a secondary road. If such information is not available within TD, would you suggest another department that may hold this information.

Yours sincerely,
Sha Yu Hin

Dorothy Shuk Kwan CHIM, Transport Department

Dear Mr Sha,

I refer to your email dated 18.10.2021.  Our reply is as follows.

Please refer to Appendix B or C of Annual Traffic Census (ATC) Report for
information about road types.  We do not have complete set of centerlines
with road types.

ATC reports can be downloaded from the webpage below -

If you have any enquiry, please contact Mr Paul LIU (Tel: 3842 6278 /
