for the annual operating expenditure of I·PARK1.
2. I·PARK1 commenced the first phase of trial operation in
December 2025. All incineration modules and supporting systems
(including seawater desalination, wastewater treatment, power generation,
and power supply systems) have entered the system testing and trial
operation stage.
3. Regarding the operating fees of waste-to-energy facilities,
please refer to the Environmental Protection Department’s response to Part
2 of Question No. 2168 in the Legislative Council Finance Committee's
examination of Estimates of Expenditure 2026-27. The relevant question
and response have been uploaded to the Environmental Protection
