Dear Environmental Protection Department,

Under the Code on Access to Information, I am writing to formally request access to the following existing records and datasets held by the Environmental Protection Department regarding the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification Scheme for Offices and Public Places.

1. Machine-Readable Export of the IAQ Certified Premises Register
A complete, machine-readable dataset of all active and archived premises registered under the scheme up to the latest available record.

2. Statistical Distributions of Tested IAQ Parameters
Anonymized, aggregated numerical statistics derived from the inspection and laboratory assessment reports submitted by Accredited Certificate Issuing Bodies (CIBs) in 2025, for each of the core physical and chemical IAQ parameters tested: For example, Carbon Dioxide, Respirable Suspended Particulates, Fine Suspended Particulates, Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs), Carbon Monoxide, Airborne Bacteria Count.

3. Annual Attrition, Non-Renewal, and Re-Assessment Failure Logs
Annual statistical counts in 2025 showing:
1. The total number of enrolled premises whose IAQ certificates expired and were not renewed within 12 months.
2. A breakdown of recorded technical or administrative reasons for non-renewal, if available or recorded.
3. The total number of quality control spot-checks or audits conducted by the EPD on CIB inspection reports per year, along with the count of certificates rejected, audited, or revoked as a result.

Please note that this request seeks only non-personal, aggregated public administration records and does not include any personal data. If the specific datasets or summary reports requested above are unavailable in the exact format, I would appreciate any relevant compiled records or raw aggregated data that the Department currently holds.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Yours faithfully,

Boris So
