Statistics relating to the Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme
Dear Buildings Department,
I kindly request the following statistical records regarding the Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme in accordance with the Code on Access to Information:
1. The number of statutory MWIS notices issued by the Buildings Department.
2. The number and/or percentage of statutory MWIS notices complied with (i.e., certified inspection forms submitted) within the specified statutory time limit, broken down by year
3. The number of outstanding or overdue MWIS notices where compliance has not yet been recorded past the deadline.
4. The number of warning letters issued, prosecutions instituted, and default notices/orders executed against non-compliant property owners or corporations, with any details of such actions where available.
I am happy to take numbers in any form of aggregation (e.g. by year) dating as far back as such records have been made. It would be a much appreciated favour if you could present this information (especially numbers) by PDF or spreadsheet file and not tabulated form, as I cannot view it properly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
James A. Wilson
