Statistics on TIP Screening: 2020Q2-2021Q3
Dear Security Bureau,
I would appreciate if you could provide information on the following, for each of the quarter from 2020 Q2 to 2021 Q3:
(1) The number of potential victims of human trafficking (“victims”) who were screened;
(2) The number of victims who were identified;
(3) Of the number in (2), a breakdown of their gender;
(4) Of the number in (2), a breakdown of their age group (under 18, 18-30, 31-40, 41 or above) at the time of victim identification;
(5) Of the number in (2), a breakdown of their immigration status at the time of victim identification;
(6) Of the number in (2), the number of victims who were foreign domestic helper visa holders before or at the time of victim identification
(7) Of the number in (2), the number of victims who made non-refoulement claims prior to victim identification; and
(8) Of the number in (2), the number of victims who made non-refoulement claims after victim identification.
