Will you kindly provide 30 day unexpected readmission rates for major disease by hospital / doctor ?
For example, what is the 30 day unexpected readmission rate for knee replacement surgery by hospital?

A sample of the same dataset from the USA: https://data.medicare.gov/Hospital-Compa...

Dear Ms Chen,

Thank you for your Application for Access to Information dated 28 December
2015.

The Hospital Authority (HA) is responsible for the management of public
hospitals in Hong Kong.   The HA publishes an HA Statistical Report
([1]http://www.ha.org.hk/visitor/ha_visitor_...).
However, we do not compile statistics about “30 day unexpected
readmission rates for major disease by hospital/doctor” and “30 day
unexpected readmission rate for knee replacement surgery by hospital”.
According to paragraph 1.14 of the Code on Access to Information, the Code
does not oblige departments to create a record which does not exist.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about this
reply.

Yours sincerely,

Sandy Chu (Miss)
