2. Daily Number of Inpatient Admissions to Medical Wards via A&E Departments from 1 November 2021 to 5 April 2022;
3. Daily Medical Inpatient Bed Occupancy Rate in Acute Hospitals from 1 November 2021 to 5 April 2022; and
4. Daily Paediatrics Inpatient Bed Occupancy Rate in Acute Hospitals from 1 November 2021 to 5 April 2022.

2022. Please find below the Hospital Authority (HA) Head Office’s response
to the items you requested:

 

The statistics requested concerning public hospitals for the period of 1
December 2021 to 5 April 2022 can be found on the HA Data Sharing Portal
accessible via:

As the prevailing service demand surge period for daily reporting
commenced on 1 December 2021, the HA has not compiled the statistics you
requested for the period of 1 November 2021 to 30 November 2021. According
to paragraph 1.14 of the Code on Access to Information, the Code does not
oblige departments to create a record which does not exist.
