Monthly Dengue Vector Surveillance data

Scott Edmunds made this Freedom of Information request to Food and Environmental Hygiene Department

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Food and Environmental Hygiene Department,

Can I ask why the dengue surveillance data is missing for Central, Yau Tong, Wo Che, Tuen Mun and Tseun Wan last year? Not sure what the grey shading mean but you can see in the 2018 data the data from the first half of the year is missing:

https://www.fehd.gov.hk/english/pestcont...

The PDFs you provide are pretty much unusable for analysis purposes, so is it possible to get this data in a textual/editable/reusable form like a spreadsheet? Ideally a CSV file but excel would do too for the 2009-2018 data. I'm sure you probably create this data in an editable manner so just send me the version that you turned into a PDF.

Even better would be to deposit this in data.gov.hk, but sending me a copy would be the next best thing.

Yours faithfully,

Scott Edmunds
