Dear Electrical and Mechanical Services Department,

I am writing this to ask for ShapeFile of underground cables. I am a student at HKUST conducting project related to Hong Kong electrical supply system. I would like to know if you can provide the ShapeFile of all the cables or some of the main cables. If it's not possible, may I know if there's another way to access the data?

Thanks for your enquiry. Please note that this department does not own the
information required. You may consider approaching the utility companies
for the as-built particulars of underground cables.
